Two books have been written about the village:

  • 1828 - The History of Willoughby in the County of Warwick containing an account of the Sulphurous and Saline Springs, Lately Discovered and the establishment of Hot, Cold, & Shower Baths by Thomas Deacon
  • Published by W. Clark, 60, Paternoster Row, London. The book also contains "abridged description of the most interesting places in the neighbourhood.

  • 1988 - Compiled by W.L. Carlisle, S.G. Ivens, F.L. Mitchell, M.J. Reynolds, S.J. Troman, & R.J. Whitfield. Designed to expand upon some areas of the 1828 book and cover the subsequent 160 years.
